๐ฆฌ Hidden charcoal in cave pigments just unlocked France's 15,000-year-old Ice Age art timeline

Using Raman spectrometry and radiocarbon dating, they pinned some bison paintings to between 13,000 and 16,000 years old for the very first time. The breakthrough could now let researchers date other prehistoric cave art across Europe. What do you think those Ice Age artists were trying to say?
