๐ข๏ธ ConocoPhillips $COP +2.2%, Chevron $CVX +1.9% as oil spikes 6% on Iran ceasefire collapse
Energy is the lone bright spot in a rough market today. WTI crude surged 6.2% to $74.79/bbl after Trump declared the Iran ceasefire "over" following fresh U.S.-Iran strikes. ConocoPhillips leads big oil with a 2.2% gain, Chevron adds 1.9%, and ExxonMobil (XOM) is up 1.6%. The geopolitical risk premium oil traders had priced out is back in a hurry. Do you think crude stays elevated or is this a short-term spike? Not financial advice.
