๐ฆท Chewing Gum Slashes HPV Levels by 93% โ and Nearly Wipes Out Oral Cancer Bacteria
University of Pennsylvania researchers engineered a chewing gum made from lablab beans that reduced HPV concentrations by up to 93% in lab tests on patient samples. It also nearly eliminated two bacteria โ Porphyromonas gingivalis and Fusobacterium nucleatum โ strongly linked to head and neck cancers. The gum preserves healthy mouth bacteria, unlike broad-spectrum antibiotics. Could something this simple eventually become a routine part of cancer prevention?
